Abstract

The Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies establishes in its Editorial Policy that retraction will be considered in the following cases:

• Refusal of the authors to correct errors;

• Unreliable results due to error, fabrication, or falsification;

• Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or redundant publication;

• Previous publication without proper citation or permission;

• Misuse of information or materials;

• Violation of copyright or other legal issues;

• Unethical practices;

• Peer review that is compromised or manipulated;

• Omission of a relevant conflict of interest.

Retraction will not be considered in the following cases:

• Authorship disputes with no impact on the results;

• Reliable results that can be corrected;

• Lack of conclusive evidence or pending investigation;

• Conflicts of interest with no impact on the conclusions.

Correction or retraction notices must:

• Be linked to the original publication;

• Clearly identify the affected article;

• Be explicitly labeled as a correction or retraction;

• Be published immediately;

• Be freely accessible;

• Identify the person responsible for the correction/retraction;

• Provide a clear and objective justification.
