Against the backdrop of the organization of work under the aegis of capital, this study develops an approach on the labor market and the inequalities in labor insertion between men and women in Chile. This text is part of the study experience carried out in the second semester of 2017, at the Universidad de Artes y Ciencias Sociales -UARCIS, in Chile. t is a qualitative documentary and bibliographic research, oriented under the critical dialectical method. The study's data points to an unprotected and informal labor market, where the rules for easing labor rights have prevailed since the 1979 labor reform. It is also noteworthy that in this scenario of weakened and more flexible working conditions, working women are the most affected, since statistics show that women have the lowest wages, the highest level of informality, in addition to being the group with the lowest pensions. Some movements for the construction of equal conditions have been carried out, however with no significant responses so far (2019). The scenario of advancing processes to make working conditions more flexible, reinforced by the current labor reform in force, approved in 2016, does nothing to change this reality
