Abstract

This text stems from an evaluative-reflective report constructed for the discipline Brazilian Education in Contemporaneity offered in the Master's program in Education, Contemporary Contexts, and Popular Demands. Based on the works of Moagir Gadotti (2003; 2004), which seeks to contextualize the historical and political processes of pedagogical thought, this study aims to construct a reflective analysis to articulate the author's ideas with the concept of a queer curriculum, which seeks to recognize plural forms of knowledge and identities as legitimate (Ferreira; Paiva; 2024). In this way, the analysis of these works contributes to enriching critical reflection about the pedagogical perspectives that are present in the contemporary educational scenario and, by establishing connections with the theme, favors the construction of dialogical educational practices for the valorization of diversity in the educational field.
