The classic models of interdisciplinarity, in their related multi/transdisciplinary domains, are taken as versions of knowledge that rewrote the sciences of man, dividing them and disseminating them in various sectors, with scopes, methods and objectives of their own, creating a unlikely space in the face of the institutional field of disciplines, radically supported by digital technology and its uses in contemporary times. Interdisciplinary, plural and open research is the object of reflection, especially in the dialogue established between history, sociology and digital communication, taking into account the connections seen by several authors in the context of contemporary historical-social changes, which are increasingly dynamic and complex. Based on discussions about the emergence of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and the presence of divergent narratives about its social use, reflections are presented on the existence of technical objects and interdisciplinary methodological paths in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
