The interface between climate change and Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) has been explored in the scientific literature since 2009. Since then, studies have shown that climate change has negative effects on OSH, exacerbated by pre-existing poverty and social inequalities. The aim of this article is to update the discussion through an integrative review of the literature relating climate change and OSH between 2020 and 2024. The search was carried out in the PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science databases, using the descriptors “climate change and work health and safety” in the title, selecting only original articles in Portuguese, Spanish and English and directly related to the topics. The main direct and indirect impacts of climate change on OSH were in professional categories that work outdoors, such as farmers and construction workers, and bring into the discussion the need for adaptation/mitigation strategies to this new scenario. The main occupational hazards/risks related to climate change were rising temperatures, increased air pollution, extreme heat, mental stress, fatigue and forest fires. The relevance of the subject raises the need for further research, especially in developing countries such as Brazil.Downloads
