Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies adopts DEIA Policy starting May 2025
The Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies announces that, beginning in May 2025, it will formally adopt the DEIA Policy – Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility – in all stages of its editorial process.
Although the journal has already been promoting actions to value diversity, equity, and inclusion in its daily practices, this commitment is now reinforced through the official implementation of the policy, aligned with the best national and international editorial guidelines.
The initiative aims to consolidate an ethical, plural, democratic, and representative science that recognizes the importance of diverse voices in knowledge production.

Institutional commitment
Adherence to DEIA principles is expressed on the journal's institutional page, demonstrating its commitment to an inclusive, fair, and accessible editorial process for all audiences involved.
Instructions for authors

Encouragement to use inclusive and non-discriminatory language;

Rejection of texts containing offensive or stereotypical terms;

Recommendation to analyze data disaggregated by sex, gender, race/ethnicity, among others;
