Abstract

Understanding childhood subjectivity requires a form of listening that goes beyond verbal language, embracing the unique ways in which the child communicates their inner world, with play being one of the most powerful. This project, characterized as a case report based on the development of resources aimed at the Clinical School of the Maurício de Nassau University Center, aims to create a therapeutic house where singular expression can take place. This work was carried out between August and October 2024, initially focusing on a systematic literature review. The descriptors used were "Play," "Setting," and "Psychoanalysis" to specify the search, which was conducted in databases such as Scielo and Google Scholar. The development of the work involved a construction composed of wood, paints, neutral dolls, and illustrative cards, resulting in the creation of a playful dwelling that allowed the authors to observe the effectiveness of psychoanalytic practice, clarifying the need for acceptance of what the individual brings. The proposal shows promise both in clinical practice and in the field of research in child psychotherapy, mainly due to its capacity to creatively combine theory and intervention while being sensitive to children’s needs.
