About the Journal

The VERUM: Journal of Scientific Initiation focuses on promoting convergence and interaction among various fields of knowledge through interdisciplinary dialogues. Its primary purpose is to provide undergraduate students with a suitable platform to publish their research. The creation of VERUM arises from the complexity and demands received by the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, aiming to establish an environment conducive to young researchers, particularly those engaged in scientific initiation, teaching and extension projects, as well as programs like PIBID, the Tutorial Education Program, and the Pedagogical Residency.

The journal seeks to create a rich debate environment between authors and readers, encouraging critical reflection and the continuous enhancement of knowledge through research and experience reports in the broad fields of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Applied Social Sciences.
