The Pedagogical Residency Program is a Brazilian public educational policy. It aims to promote the pedagogical practices of undergraduate students from public and private educational institutions. There have already been 3 editions of the policy under study. This research aimed to understand the reality of the Pedagogical Residency Program – Geography Center of the Federal University of Pampa. Specifically, we sought to know whether the actors recognize their responsibilities based on this regulation. Responses from 3 of the 4 actors that make up the program were accessed, that is, Institutional Coordinator, Faculty Advisor and Preceptor. In total, 1 Institutional Coordinator, 2 Guiding Teachers and 4 Preceptors were interviewed. Documentary and bibliographic research techniques were used. To compose the method, content analysis was used. Among the results obtained are full knowledge of the regulations on the part of one of the Guiding Teachers and partially on the other. As for the Preceptors, two identify their duties in full, one partially and the other only one of their duties. On the part of the Institutional Coordination, they said they knew all their duties and highlighted the importance of knowing the regulations for carrying out their work.
